 Metropolitan Properties served as the development consultant for the project’s owner, a non-profit consortium comprising DePaul University, Columbia Chicago College and Roosevelt University. The key to this development was the unprecedented cooperation among the initial three schools and, subsequently, Robert Morris College. Located at State Street and Congress Parkway in the South Loop, the 900,000-square-foot development includes dormitory housing for more than 1,700 student residents, as well as 60,000 square feet of retail space. The development was completed in 2004 at a total development cost of $150 million.
